Sophia Oddi

Dancer

Sophia Oddi (she/her) is a dancer and choreographer based in Los Angeles. She is an inaugural graduate of the USC Glorya Kaufman School of Dance under the direction of Jodie Gates and William Forsythe, and an alumni of the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts. She previously performed Yusha Marie-Sorzano’s evening-length dance theater work, Threat, with TU Dance, and Sorzano’s Ballet Through Mud in collaboration with RZA. Sophia is a dancer for Zeitgeist Dance Theatre and has performed for ISHIDA Dance Company. Her choreographic credits include AdidasxSNS, Verdi’s Otello with the Pacific Symphony, music videos, and assistant choreographer under Laura Miller for the upcoming Smurfs movie. She was a 2023 choreographer-in-residence at the WOODWORKS Residency, and a 2022 New Century Dance Project Choreographic Competition finalist. This year, she choreographed and produced her first split-bill performance in Los Angeles.
