Rachel Harris

Rachel Harris is a Bessie nominated dancer, choreographer, and director for stage, film, and theater based in New York City. The North Carolina native studied under Denise Britz-Clarke and graduated Cum Laude from the University of Southern California Glorya Kaufman School of Dance under Jodie Gates and William Forsythe. Her credits include Parsons Dance, Life and Trust Emursive, Monica Bill Barnes & Company, NVA and Guests, Traverse City Dance Project, Zeitgeist Dance Theatre, (All)ways Dance Company, Metropolitan Opera, Chicago Lyric Opera, Los Angeles Opera, and Washington National Opera. A choreographer in her own right, Rachel has been commissioned by Howard University, Traverse City Dance Project, the Kennedy Center, and is a 2026 Carmel Dance Festival Choreography Fellow. She has worked with William Forsythe, Yusha Marie-Sorzano, Sidra Bell, Stefanie Batten Bland, Rickey Tripp, Marjanie Forté-Saunders, Hope Boykin, Christian Warner, Jennifer Lott, Elena Vazintaris, Chanel de Silva, Barak Marshall, Rick and Jeff Kuperman, and Francisco Gella.
